In recent years, as China has placed increasing emphasis on environmental protection and energy conservation, our company has actively responded to national policies by launching a photovoltaic (PV) power generation project in 2018.
Our factory consumes approximately 2.3 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity annually. The traditional power grid supply method not only incurs high costs but also places a significant burden on the environment. To address this issue, the factory initiated its first phase of the PV power generation project in 2018. In this phase, large-scale solar panels were installed on the factory rooftops, converting solar energy into electricity. This initiative not only made efficient use of the otherwise unused rooftop space but also significantly reduced the factory's reliance on the power grid.
Following the success of the first phase, the factory expanded the scale of its PV power generation by launching a second phase in 2021. With both phases completed, the factory's PV system has reached a new level of capacity. According to statistics, the system now provides approximately 60,000 kWh of clean electricity per month, reducing grid electricity consumption by 720,000 kWh annually. This energy-saving effect has not only significantly lowered the factory's operating costs but also reduced the environmental pollution associated with traditional power production.
In addition to photovoltaic power generation, the factory has also actively promoted other environmental protection measures. These include improving production processes to reduce emissions of waste gases and wastewater, implementing green procurement strategies by prioritizing environmentally friendly materials and equipment, and enhancing waste management by adopting waste sorting and recycling practices.
Through these efforts, the factory has achieved remarkable results in energy conservation and emission reduction, becoming a model enterprise in the industry. Looking ahead, the factory remains committed to its green development path, contributing to China's goal of carbon neutrality.
